A. Internet Origins
The Internet is a series of networks of computers connected menerusi several circuits. The Internet is a public computer system, interconnected by globlal and use TCP / IP as the protocol exchange of packets (packet switching communication protocol). Largest series of networks called the Internet. How to connect this circuit is called internetworking.
At first the internet from a computer network comprising several computers which are connected with cables that form a network (network). First time in 1969, the Internet was developed with a ARPAnet (Advanced Research Projects Agency) by the United States Department of Defense. ARPAnet was built with the aim of making the largest computer network to avoid the centralization of information at one point estimated prone to be destroyed when there was war. If one part of the network is lost, the path through the network automatically transferred to other jaluur.
In 1977, more than one hundred mini-and mainframe computers connected to the ARPAnet which exist in most universities. The relationship of this computer is used by lecturers and students to share information without leaving the computer. In the early 1980s, the ARPAnet split into two networks, namely the ARPAnet and Milnet. Milnet is militter network, where both have a relationship so that communication can still run. Interconnection network is called the DARPA Internet, but then only referred Inaternet. Internet can only be accessed with a mainframe computer minidan. After the opening of Usenet services and Bitnet, the Internet can be accessed through the Personal Co., mputer
(PC). Protocol used is TCP / IP to use DNS (Domain Name System).
In 1986, formed NSFNET (National Science Foundation Network). NSFNET began replacing the ARPAnet. In ARPAnet was disbanded in March 1990. In the NSFNET, the various international networks established and connected to the NSFNET. Currently, there are more than 4 million Internet hosts worldwide. Since 1988, the Internet grew rapidly and doubling every year.

B. Internet development in Indonesia
Computer networks into Indonesia in the late 1980s. This network connects five universities with a dial-up facility which disebu UNInet. Fifth university is the University of Indonesia (UI), University Open (UT), Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), and the Institute of Technology (ITS). 1. Year 1986 - 1987

C. Internet Information Sources

D. How it Works Internet
Computer networks and the Internet are interconnected and communicate using standard TCP / IP (Transmission Control Protocol / Internet Protocol). TCP / IP is a protocol to control, regulate or mengikinkan of relationships, communication and transfer of data between two or more computer points. This protocol allows a variety of different computer networks can communicate with each other. The function of TCP / IP protocol is sending data to the nearest computer, or a far (interstate) with a fast time without any broken / missing.
When we send a text to a machine or another computer, TCP / IP to work. TCP divides the text into small data packets, add some information, so the computer penerinma ensure that the package had received no damage during shipping. When the packets of TCP / IP arrives at the destination computer, the computer receives an IP address label and then use the list of existing delivery at TCP packet to inspect packages for damage incurred during shipping, and rearrange the packages became the composition as the original text.
In general, to access the Internet, the media used through the phone line is known as PPP (Point to Point Protocol). In addition, in order to connect to the Internet network, computer users should list first on a company that provides Internet access service, called ISP (Internet Service Provider).


  • Membuat CD Virtual
Microsoft Virtual PC adalah sebuah program virtualisasi yang dijalankan di atas komputer PC berbasis sistem operasi Microsoft Windows dan juga dapat dijalankan di atas komputer Apple Macintosh berbasis sistem operasi Mac OS. Aplikasi ini pada awalnya ditulis oleh Connectix, yang kemudian diakusisi oleh Microsoft Corporation. Pada bulan Juli 2006, Microsoft merilis Virtual PC untuk Windows sebagai sebuah versi yang gratis (tidak berbayar), dan pada bulan Agustus 2006, Microsoft mengumumkan bahwa Virtual PC untuk Macintosh akan dihentikan produksinya, karena Microsoft tidak melakukan porting aplikasi dari prosesor IBM PowerPC (yang sebelumnya digunakan oleh Macintosh) menjadi prosesor berbasis Intel.

Berikut langkah-langkah untuk membuat CD Virtual
1.Masukan CD, lalu  Klik pada ikon Alkohol 52%
2. Apabila sudah seperti dibawah ini, berarti CD-ROM sudah masuk .



3. Ketikan nama di Image Name . kemudian Klik star.



4. Tunggu instalasinya .

  • Instal Virtual PC (Membuat Komputer dalam Komputer )

Membuat komputer dalam komputer bisa dilakukan dengan menginstal Virtual PC. Berikut langkah-langkahnya :
1.






 

2. Klik Star, pilih All Program, pilih Microsoft Virtual PC
3.Buka Console Virtual PC, lalu klik New




4. Setelah mengklik tombol New,lalu akan tampil Form Wizard seperti berikut, kemudian klik Next



5. Di New Virtual Machine Wizard, pilih
 6. pilih sebuah nama guest OS anda, setelah itu klik next
 7. Karena akan memakai WindowsXP, maka pilih Windows XP
 8. Lalu Kita bisa adjust Memory yang dibutuhkan oleh virtual machine pada screen ini. Saya adjust lebih dari 257 MB. Memory host minimal harus 1 giga.
 9. kita akan membuat yang baru, maka klik di A New Vidtual Hard Disk,lalu klik Next
 10. Maka Wizard selesai ,klik Finish 

11. Lalu Klik Star  pada  Virtual PC console 

12. Lalu, lakukan instalasi




13. Akhirnya Virtual Pc sudah dibuat

Kita bisa memindahkan file/Shortcut dengan klik darg . Apabila mouse sulit keluar, maka tekan tombol Alt yang ada di sebelah kanan .
